The bipod is very very stable. It is very consistent. It is more rigid than the regular which is more rigid than a Harris.

After using Harris bipods for years I decided to try Tip Top bipods after reading reviews of their products, I only wish I had read the reviews sooner.

I purchased this sling stud mounting bipod to replace a Harris bipod on my Remington 700 in a AICS stock.

This bipod is extremely well built and very solid. There are no tool marks or sharp edges and I observed the black anodized finish to be smooth with no blemishes.

The leg springs are firm and the legs snap tightly into place whether extended or folded away with no wobble. The foot springs fully extend the feet when the release is pressed. The legs slide freely up and down when the release is depressed and lock firmly into the notches. Unlike other bipods the foot springs on this bipod are internal which prevents any dirt, sand, or mud from getting to the springs and feet.

The bipod attached easily and quickly to the sling stud and once tightened it is very secure with no play or movement. There is also padding on the almost 2-inch mount surface which adds a little protection for your stock.

On the range this bipod’s performance was outstanding. The sturdy legs stood up to my rifle’s recoil with no threat of collapse. When I loaded the bipod the rubber feet kept the bipod from walking or pushing forward. The ability to pan with this bipod made engaging multiple targets quick and easy with very little adjustment.

I will be using Tip Top bipods on my future builds and would highly recommend this bipod to anyone as a better alternative to other more, expensive bipods on the market today.

This is an excellent bipod. Fit and finish are outstanding.
The legs are firm and the legs snap tightly into folded or deployed position with no wobble. The foot springs fully extend the feet when the release is pressed. The legs slide freely up and down when the release is depressed and lock firmly into the notches with no play or movement. The level (side tilt) locks down first as you increase the tension knob. Still allowing for a smooth pan of the rifle. This allows easy control of the rifle. As more tension is apply through tightening the knob. More resistance is applied to pan so you have control of the rifles stability and movements all the way to completely locking it down. This is an outstanding feather for hunters. I highly recommend Tip Top bipods and will be ordering more for future rifles.

I was extremely skeptical about this bipod because there is limited info on them and I hate paying for junk. However, I was amazed when it arrived. As others have said the pivot & pan features are super smooth and the finish is unbelievable. I borrowed a champion bipod from my friend to see what I thought. The champion isn’t even in the same universe as the tiptop. For those doing tons of research like I did, buy it, u won’t regret it.

excellent quality for the money, I was going to buy a Harris, but I get a better price, same quality, and more options

Perfect fit and use. Extra height is a plus for shooting in taller grass. Functions flawlessly and cost less than a Harris which as less features.

Very sturdy locks up well and allows you to preload for more accurate shots… perfect addition to my long range rifles without breaking the bank. You end up with more features than a harris at half the cost. It has held up against 6.5 creedmore, .308, 300wm and .338 lapua! I highly recommend it and have added three more to my collection all with the same great quality.

Tried many bipods that costs sub $150. Can’t beat this with a stick. I shoot PRS style competitions and it’s so reliable that I bought one for my wife’s Ruger RPR when she decided to shoot competition.

Great Bipod. Have used this bipod several time now and find it to be just as good if not better then the high priced ones.

Great value for a bipod compared to harris.

Excellent bipod! It has spring loaded notched legs that lock in tightly when retracted because the springs put a good amount of outward pressure which prevents sloppy rattling you might find in some lower end bipods. Also pans, swivels and locks up tight in any position as other reviewers have mentioned. It replaced a Harris on my new Savage PRS build and looks quite nice. T

I looked for a couple months and always had this one on watch. I read all the reviews from Atlas and Harris Bipods and kept coming right back to Tip Top one thing the price other had a lot of people say save your money and buy Harris or Atlas. I’m so glad I went with TIP TOP and will buy more. Save your money for ammunition and BUY THIS TIP TOP bipod. I’m very happy I did. D.L. Not only that fast free shipping.

If you are looking for a bipod, GET THIS BRAND! I have gone to the range now twice and think this brand is AWESOME! I HIGHLY recommend this name brand. They have various sizes and models to choose from. I have bought 2 different models and both are equally impressive.

Works great, easy to install and being able to pivot horizontally is a plus. Quality unit. Would buy again and recommend it.

This is a great alternative to a Harris bipod. It is much better quality than Caldwell bipods by far. Would purchase again.

    (verified owner):

I got a series 7 notched legged last year. Use it on my encore pistol and Rifles, it is sweet. Never gives me a hassle, I turn the pivot pan tightening lever one time to get the firmness I like, (so it don’t rock side to side) also when tightening the lever it is smooth so one can feel the correct tightness right away. I’ve never used a Harris, but I suspect what you get here is the top of the line Harris for $72. 5 Stars
