Awesome bipod, exactly what I was looking for with tilt, side to side movement and very solid.

    (verified owner):

Bang for the buck seems great, I like the level, pan and return spring in what I’ll call the head and it is lightweight and seems sturdy compared to other bipods I have used. I have not had a chance to use the bipod much I bought for an SBR bolt gun and should have purchased the shorter model because it is so close to the receiver I need to have the heel of the stock elevated when shooting in a prone position, from the bench though it is fine. I certainly will consider purchasing another.

Heavy duty and great features. I will put it on the same level as Harris.

This bipod appears to exactly what I need as an alternative to my handgrip /bipod when I need more height. It looks well made, very similar to the folding bipod I had on a 1022 I gave to my grandson.

Extremely pleased with this product. I highly recommend it…

I’ve used Harris bi-pods in the past with good results. I thought I would try the above product because of the price/value difference with Harris. I’m very happy that I made the selection. The tilt/rotate feature with lock and the quick attach to a 1913 rail was of importance for the activities I have in mind. The spring-loaded leg returns are a plus. Overall, I’m very happy with the bi-pod. It is slightly more compact than an equivalent Harris setup and appears to be just as sturdily built.

This bipod was purchased for an AR set up for coyotes; I have a Brand B bipod on my bolt gun. The difference in the workmanship was noticeable from the start. The materials are substantial and free of burrs, the fasteners are high quality. The diameter of the legs is larger, and the spring back is much more controlled. Other brands spring back so hard they knock the feet off. The larger feet are very durable, pinned in place, and the folding mechanism is tight with no play in it. The pan/pivot lock is secure and easy to reach in either the flip forward or flip rearward installation. The rail attachment clamp has a safety on it so you can’t accidentally release it in the brush. Because the rail attachment is super-quick, I can keep this bipod in my AR kit and swap it between any of my guns that have an accessory rail on the bottom of the handguard as needed. I intend to remove the Brand B bipod from my bolt gun and install an accessory rail on it, for even more options with this bipod. Overall a great product at a very affordable price.

Very impressed with this bipod, I have always purchased the Harris Type S and paid through the nose. in my opinion this is better made then Harris it has a stronger pivoting pin and it set up for Picatinny rail without an adapter!

This is an excellent accessory to my AR; this is my first bi-pod. I researched for a couple of weeks looking for a bi-pod that will fit my need and finally settled on this one. Took it to the range today for the first time and shot 150 rounds; its very stable. The pan and pivot feature is awesome; gets my sight on target with ease. It takes about two seconds to attach and detach with the quick lock lever. the size is perfect for shooting on the bench/table.

Great Bipods I would highly recommend them.

  12. 5 out of 5

Excellent bipod! Better than the Harris it is replacing because it can swivel AND track. It is on a Ruger Precision 6.5 Creedmoor. Laying on your belly shooting 1000 yards and it never failed me.

Excellent bipod very sturdy and quick connect to the rail is nice and tight. Someone wrote a review that the legs only go from 7″-10″ and that’s it,,, that’s NOT true, the can be adjusted at any length from the thumb screw. Very happy with the purchase.

    Works flawlessly.

Great bipod, two for a couple rifles.

I’ve been hunting for a good bipod for my RECCE/SPR AR15 build and was not too keen on spending a ton of money on a Harris or atlas. This unit fit my needs for length, mounting, and features and possessed primarily positive reviews so I went for it. Initial observation and basic testing have led me to recommend this bipod company for anyone looking for a good solid piece of kit. Legs lock into position solidly and adjustment of pan and tilt is easy and effective. I will update after a range session.

Without a doubt my TipTop bipod is as good as any sub $200 dollar bipod I have EVER touched. The fit and function are spot on. It’s tight where it needs to be tight and smooth where it needs to be smooth. The legs unfold securely and say, “I am here, lean on me.” The legs extend smoothly and retract with a snap that says, “Biniss is done, time to RTB.” There is NOTHING to dislike about this bipod. I’m going to be putting it through the paces soon. I can tell you though, that the quality is quite evident. If you are struggling with not really wanting to buy a bipod that costs as much as your trigger or barrel or BCG, yet you don’t want to waste your money on a $30.00 piece of junk, (Because it is a waste of your money) , then struggle no more. You have found the answer. It’s the TipTop bipod. I have the Series IX EZ Pivot Pan and Zoom (SKU# 94676) on my SPR and I could not, I repeat could NOT be more happy,…..I didn’t want to fork over $200+ for an Atlas, and I even wanted an alternative to Harris and I found it.

Follow up review. Original review posted 06.28.2016
So it’s been four months since I purchased my Tip Top bipod. We’ve had numerous trips to the range, where we’ve done basic prone shooting, but I’ve also ran through several drills lugging my SPR around. Shooting using the folded legs as my platform, using the legs fully retracted, and full extended. At 14.5 pounds my SPR isn’t exactly light, so I am impressed with its ability to hold my rifle secure while I’m shooting. The pan and tilt is a very useful feature and from what I’ve seen those features push the other name brands out of budget for many. But not with the Tip Top. I mean really, what’s not to like? Solid construction. Clearly designed with the shooter in mind, and at an affordable price. I’ve had zero issues with my bipod to date. The only thing I had to do was adjust the tension on the locking nut for the pan and tilt. As it arrived, it did not sure it tight enough, but after a 10 second adjustment, it now locks that bipod in place securely.
Peleton just released (back in Sept.) a notched leg version which I will be ordering from Amazon this afternoon. It will be the 9N (N for notched) version and after speaking with one of the reps from Peleton, I am extremely excited. Two years of R&D has gone into this new notched bipod, and that bad boy is going to be on my front door step by Friday, and out on my range by Saturday.
Back to point – Peleton is my bipod of choice. I could buy a Harris bipod today. Heck, I could buy an Atlas for that matter, but I’m not. I’m going to save that money for something more important, considering the pol. climate, and invest one more time in the Peleton TipTop bipod, because my bipod has proven itself to be a reliable, well constructed bipod.

Firstly, the quality, design, and engineering of Tip Top Bipods, is absolutely top notch and has always functioned properly, with every rifle I’ve attached them to. Tip Top is easily the best bang for your buck, in regards to quality bipods available on the market. There’s no comparison, when you consider all the features that are designed into the manufacturing of Peleton Products. Prior to purchasing Tip Top, I always used either GG&G, Harris, or Atlas bipods, however, after taking a chance and buying my first Tip Top, it was a very easy decision, and I decided these bipods were definitely going to take the place of the much more expensive bipods I’d usually buy!!! I now own six of these amazing pieces. The pivot and pan features are incredibly smooth and allows you to level your rifle with absolute ease. You can certainly adjust your rifle fast and precise when hunting. It’s easy to adjust the direction of your muzzle, With accuracy and speed. I also really like the Quicklok feature that makes it a snap to attach the bipod to your Pic Rail. Very solid construction, amazingly lightweight, stable telescopic legs with smooth deployment; makes Tip Top an absolute must, if you’re in the market for a high quality bipod at an incredible price.

Solid bipod and the quick release system is definitely a winner. I put down about 100 rounds and it stayed put. Did not cost an arm and a leg.

Great bipod for the money. Actually more quality than I thought possible for it’s cost. Very pleased.

3rd one I have bought. Great bipod

I really like this Bi-pod on its quality and ease of function. It is well made and comparable to a harris. I went with this bi-pod for the quick disconnect rail mount and the swivel. I would buy another one in a minute. I have it mounted on my M!-a loaded rail and it is very sturdy.

    Good fit. Super fast shipper

I have never owned a bipod before – first one for me. However I did do some research to try and find what would work for my M1A ERB build that would not set me back hundreds of dollars. Tip Top was the one that had all the features and still had Quality to the build – not like alot of other cheap knock-offs that fail for one reason or another (poor quality). Have to say, had it setup and all adjust for my rifle in about 15 mins. with zero problems. This really appears to be a great bipod!

Very happy and impressed with the product.

My ex-Green Beret shooting friend insisted I buy a Harris. When we compared my Tip Top to his Harris, the only real difference is price. Tip Top does everything as well as a Harris for half the cost, period. I knew about Tip Top bi-pods from much research and recommendations, and have sold my Green Beret buddy on Tip Top bi-pods. I have the QD picatinny rail mount so I can swap mine to different rifles. Money well spent!

    Highly Recommended! Quality Product!

Under valued, the tilt and swing makes it a dream to shoot at a multi target set up. The height is perfect too.

Product was as described, well packaged and delivered as scheduled. All you can ask for by a seller.

The item was as described and I plan to purchase several more. I was very well pleased with the first one.

Love these bipods, they absolutely beat the tar out of almost every other Bipod on the market. The best thing about this model and it’s 7-10″ legs is it’s suitability for firing from the prone position, it gives just enough lift to be comfortable without forcing you to stretch out too much.

The next best aspect of this bipod is the quick lock mechanism for attaching to picatinny rails, no fussing with a tension knob, just a throw of a lever to take it off one rifle and attach it to another.

The bipod’s spring loaded pivoting base is nice in terms of both comfort and allowing for increased accuracy when you don’t have time to properly adjust the leg extensions on an uneven rest.

The pan feature is fantastic in that you don’t have to worry about the bipod’s legs slipping or jumping while tracking a fast moving bogey like a yodel dog that has switched on his afterburners to get the heck out of dodge.

I also purchased several of Caldwell’s sling mount to picatinny rail adapters and put them on almost all of my bolt guns, and then purchased two more of these bipods in different lengths so I could use them on all of my rifles while being able to easily switch between them as needed

  35. 5 out of 5

Outstanding. No special adapters!! I can buy 3.5 of these for the price of one atlas bipod!! this is a very robust unit! actually better than a Harris! this is the best bipod i own and i own them all!!! anyone want to buy the others? cuz im getting a few more of these!!!! I put this one on my Ruger RPR, next ill get two my AR Rifles!! The legs do adjust up and down by use of the thumb screws so you have infinite adjustability on uneven ground, the lever at the rear near your off hand levers easy and allows for panning and tilt and tention is adjustable. another guy stated there is only two settings down- open and up-closed, but thats not true the thumb knobs hold great anywheres along the length. they are not just locking knobs..

Excellent bipod! Better than the Harris it is replacing because it can swivel AND track. It is on a Ruger Precision 6.5 Creedmoor. Laying on your belly shooting 1000 yards and it never failed me.

A very nice mid-priced Bipod. Solid mounting and doesn’t require additional adapters for a picatinny rail, tilt and pan work both work and lock up well, height adjustment is simple and solid. It’s not an Atlas, but all in all, I don’t think you can beat this bipod for this price.

  38. 5 out of 5

    A great buy, here’s why:

    – Smooth Multi-Directional Articulation
    – Leg Springs are VERY Snappy
    – Locking Mechanisms hold their positions tightly

I have a buddy that believes in the “buy once, cry once” philosophy, so he runs Atlas bipods on his rifles. While I believe in spending money on quality, I wasn’t about to fork over $300 for a bipod. And I’m glad I didn’t. This bipod is sturdy, the QD is an awesome feature, and I love that it is extendable and allows angle to be adjusted as well. Fantastic value for the price! Would highly recommend.

  40. 5 out of 5

Top tier product. Not my first TipTop bipod, and definitely not my last. Don’t bother wasting your time or money on the other, big-name, big $$$ bipods out there. TipTop out-performs all of them at a fraction of the price. These bipods are the real deal. This tactical model works perfectly on my Colt M4 and makes it a breeze to shoot at distance. Built strong, great features, awesome price… there’s not much else to say, just buy one and you won’t regret it.

Happy with product… was gift for my husband. He is happy so I will order again.

  42. 5 out of 5

Solid like Harris bi pod! But cheaper and easy to install I’d buy one more when the next build starts!

  43. 5 out of 5

Now, tip-top did it right, everything you can want in a bipod for a decent price. more features than any comparable bipod. Harris bipods are being bought now more for the name. These give them more than a run for their money! I will buy more for sure. Thanks
